Pittsburgh Penguins forward Elmer Soderblom missed a practice session on Tuesday due to an undisclosed injury. The team has categorized his status as day-to-day. Primarily playing on the right wing of the fourth line, Soderblom has recorded one assist while appearing in six games so far this season.
Elsewhere on the roster, forward Ben Kindel returned as a full-contact participant following a vasovagal episode that sidelined him for two games. Defenseman Sam Girard practiced in a non-contact role, while forwards Egor Chinakhov and Evgeni Malkin both participated fully in the session.
