The Pittsburgh Penguins, along with all 31 other NHL teams, revealed their unique Hometown Remix jerseys Monday.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have unveiled their new Hometown Remix jerseys for the 2026-27 NHL season, drawing mixed reactions from fans and media. The navy and powder blue design features gold accents, an igloo shoulder patch, and comic-style polka dots on the logo and numbers. The aesthetic is heavily inspired by 1960s pop art in honor of Pittsburgh native Andy Warhol.
The jersey divided major media outlets, with ESPN ranking Pittsburgh's design at No. 1 overall, while The Athletic placed it at No. 12. The writer expressed strong praise for the unique design, noting that it effectively honors team and city history. The Penguins are scheduled to wear the Remix jerseys across ten games during the 2026-27 campaign, beginning November 3 against the Vegas Golden Knights.
