Quick bites: Sharks win final game of the preseason, beat Vegas 4-2

The San Jose Sharks concluded their preseason with a 4-2 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday night. Late third-period goals from Mason Marchment and Michael Misa broke a 2-2 tie to secure the win, with Misa scoring past Vegas goaltender Carter Hart in the closing minutes.

Goaltender Yaroslav Askarov anchored the Sharks' defense, stopping 29 shots and recording a .933 save percentage. Defensively, San Jose received strong physical play from Darnell Nurse and Nolan Allan, both of whom worked actively to clear the crease and protect Askarov against Vegas.
