Sharks Among Teams Interested In Edvinsson

Calgary Flames general manager Craig Conroy discussed potential trade outlooks for defenseman Zach Whitecloud and center Ryan Strome during an interview with Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic. Whitecloud has expressed a desire to remain part of Calgary's long-term plans. Although rival clubs have shown interest in the 29-year-old blueliner, Conroy values having quality veterans around his young core and would reportedly require a significant offer to consider trading him.

Conversely, forward Ryan Strome is viewed as a much more likely trade candidate ahead of the March 1st deadline. The veteran center carries an expiring $5MM contract and has recorded four points in 11 games this season. Conroy noted that evaluating Strome's situation will take time, with a final decision expected before the trade cutoff.
