How Mackie Samoskevich’s Stanley Cup Experience Could Help the Kraken

Mackie Samoskevich is bringing valuable Stanley Cup championship experience to the Seattle Kraken while making an immediate offensive impact. The young forward scored three goals across his first five games with Seattle, including a two-goal performance in his first home game. His strong start has quickly earned him a regular spot on the Kraken's top line alongside teammates Jared McCann and Matty Beniers.

Samoskevich previously spent the 2024–25 season with the Florida Panthers, tallying 31 points and helping the franchise capture its second consecutive Stanley Cup. Having witnessed Florida's depth and postseason resilience firsthand, Samoskevich emphasized to KING-TV that winning requires attention to detail and contributions from everyone on the roster, lessons Seattle hopes will fuel its own push to return to the playoffs.
