The Buffalo Sabres and Chicago Blackhawks are towards the bottom of the league in goals scored, so it's no surprise they're looking for scoring help.

Both the Buffalo Sabres and Chicago Blackhawks are actively exploring the trade market to acquire additional scoring help. According to reports, Buffalo is targeting wingers while navigating limited cap space of under $2 million. Meanwhile, Chicago general manager Kyle Davidson is seeking shoot-first wingers with size as the franchise attempts to take a tangible step forward.
The Blackhawks have engaged in discussions with the Washington Capitals regarding forward Ivan Miroshnichenko, though several other teams also hold interest. Chicago possesses draft capital and over $2.7 million in current cap space, while young players Frank Nazar, Oliver Moore, and Kevin Korchinski have also surfaced in recent trade speculation.
