Blues Assign Four Players To Springfield, Including 2024 First-Round Pick Adam Jiricek

The St. Louis Blues assigned four players to the Springfield Thunderbirds of the AHL on Friday morning. The moves sent defensemen and forwards Adam Jiricek, Otto Stenberg, Dylan Peterson, and Aleksanteri Kaskimaki to the minors, trimming the Blues' training camp roster down to 28 players.

All four reassigned prospects are waiver-exempt, whereas veteran Calle Rosen remains with the NHL squad as an extra defenseman while Tyler Tucker recovers from a knee issue. St. Louis must trim five additional players from its active roster ahead of Monday's season-opening roster deadline.
