Blues Assign Six More Players To Springfield, Including 2025 First-Round Pick Justin Carbonneau

The St. Louis Blues trimmed their training camp roster down to 32 players by assigning six players to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds. The assigned group includes 2025 first-round pick Justin Carbonneau, forward Nikita Susuev, defensemen Quinton Burns, Arseni Koromyslov, and Colin Ralph, along with goaltender Will Cranley.

In addition to the roster moves, forward Felix Trudeau reported to Springfield to continue rehabilitating an upper-body injury suffered during a recent prospect series against the Chicago Blackhawks. The Blues have two preseason games remaining before opening their regular season on October 2 against the Dallas Stars.
