St. Louis Blues Assign Six to Springfield

The St. Louis Blues trimmed their training camp roster down to 32 players after assigning six players to their AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds. The group sent down includes forwards Justin Carbonneau and Nikita Susuev, defensemen Quinton Burns, Arseni Koromyslov, and Colin Ralph, and goaltender Will Cranley. Additionally, the team sent Felix Trudeau to Springfield to continue his rehabilitation from an upper-body injury.

Burns, Koromyslov, and Ralph each skated in two preseason contests for the Blues, while Carbonneau appeared in one game and logged two penalty minutes. Cranley and Susuev did not see game action. St. Louis will continue its preseason against the Chicago Blackhawks, while the Thunderbirds prepare for upcoming exhibition games against the Providence Bruins.
