Forwards Zach Dean and Dillon Dube have earned spots on the St. Louis Blues opening night 23-man roster for the 2026-27 season. Blues head coach Jim Montgomery praised both players for their speed, energy, and tenacity on pucks during training camp as they secured the 13th and 14th forward positions ahead of Monday's roster deadline.
To trim the roster, the Blues placed forwards Oskar Sundqvist, Nathan Walker, and Jack Finley on waivers alongside goaltender Georgii Romanov. Defenseman Calle Rosen secured the seventh defenseman spot after Adam Jiricek was assigned to the AHL's Springfield Thunderbirds.
