The Lightning will get center Dominic James back in the lineup Thursday night as they host the Seattle Kraken at Benchmark International Arena.

Tampa Bay Lightning center Dominic James is set to make his season debut on Thursday night against the Seattle Kraken. The 24-year-old missed the first six games of the season due to a broken hand suffered right before training camp. Head coach Jon Cooper expressed excitement about his return, praising James's speed, pace, and the positive impact he delivered to the lineup during his rookie campaign.
James is expected to center Tampa Bay's fourth line alongside Conor Geekie and Jeff Viel, with forward Gage Goncalves becoming a healthy scratch. Last season, James recorded seven goals and 15 points across 43 regular-season games, adding two goals in seven playoff contests.
