This former Lightning forward has earned a contract for the season with the Rangers.

The New York Rangers have announced the signing of former Tampa Bay Lightning forward Luke Glendening to a one-year contract for the 2026-27 season. Glendening earned the deal following a professional tryout (PTO) agreement with the team.
The veteran forward spent the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons with the Lightning, recording 14 goals, four assists, and 18 points across 158 games. Glendening is expected to provide bottom-six depth as a fourth-line center, bringing defensive play, faceoff ability, and penalty-killing capabilities to the Rangers.
