The Tampa Bay Lightning have had a busy week, starting with Jon Cooper’s annual Coop’s Catch fishing tournament on Monday before returning to practice on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brandon Hagel is considered a game-time decision, while forward Zemgus Girgensons has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Winnipeg Jets. Both players missed practices on Tuesday and Wednesday after sustaining undisclosed injuries during the team's recent three-game road trip against Vegas, Colorado, and Utah.
Girgensons previously left Saturday's game against Utah early due to his injury. Tampa Bay returns to the ice following a four-day break, having earned three of six possible points on the road trip, where assistant coach Rob Zettler noted costly turnovers were a major issue.
