Forward Conor Geekie earned an opening-night roster spot for the third consecutive year following a 59-point AHL campaign. Meanwhile, prospect Sam O'Reilly was assigned to the Syracuse Crunch, and Benjamin Rautiainen will return to Finland to play for Tappara.
