Anthony Stolarz looked like the goalie Toronto thought it was getting. Maybe he's finding his game again.

Anthony Stolarz stopped 26 of 27 shots as the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the New York Islanders 2-1 on Wednesday night. Toronto built an early 2-0 lead in the first period behind goals from Colton Sissons and Easton Cowan before Emil Heineman scored a shorthanded goal for New York late in the third period.
Writer Old Prof notes that Stolarz appeared to regain his sharp form after an injury-plagued previous campaign where he posted an .893 save percentage across 26 games. The author argues that working alongside veteran starter Sergei Bobrovsky could help Stolarz maintain dependability in net for Toronto.
