The Vancouver Canucks returned to practice at Rogers Arena on Tuesday morning for an early skate ahead of their flight to Raleigh, North Carolina. Winger Jake DeBrusk rejoined the squad after missing two weekend games due to illness, returning to his line alongside Elias Pettersson and Jonathan Lekkerimäki. The team held a 45-minute practice at 9 am to prepare for an upcoming six-game road trip.

Head coach Manny Malhotra introduced new defensive pairings, skating Victor Mancini alongside Elias Pettersson (D-Petey) and pairing Luke Schenn with Guillaume Brisebois. Meanwhile, forward Filip Chytil remains sidelined with a preseason shoulder injury and will not travel on the road trip.
