Eichel lifts Golden Knights past Utah in overtime

Jack Eichel scored 39 seconds into overtime to lift the Vegas Golden Knights to a 5-4 preseason victory over the Utah Mammoth on Thursday at T-Mobile Arena. Vegas rallied from a 3-1 deficit entering the third period, with Tomas Hertl forcing overtime by scoring with 28 seconds left in regulation before Eichel secured the win. Eichel finished the contest with one goal and two assists.

Victor Olofsson, Jeremy Lauzon, and Mark Stone also scored for Vegas, while Shea Theodore contributed three assists. Utah received goals from Zac Jones, Liam O'Brien, Artem Duda, and Tomas Lavoie, supported by three assists from Kevin Stenlund. The victory improved Vegas to 3-0 in preseason play.
