The Vegas Golden Knights have recalled defenseman Ville Heinola ahead of a two-game road trip through the Central Division. Heinola will fill up Vegas’ extra roster spot.
The Vegas Golden Knights have recalled defenseman Ville Heinola ahead of their upcoming two-game road trip through the Central Division. In a corresponding roster move, the team placed forward Victor Olofsson on injured reserve. Olofsson is considered week-to-week due to an undisclosed injury.
Heinola will fill Vegas' extra roster spot as he seeks to make his debut with the Golden Knights after spending seven seasons with the Winnipeg Jets organization. The 2019 first-round draft pick has recorded 12 points in 58 career NHL games.
