Vegas Golden Knights head coach Ryan Craig announced that forward Victor Olofsson is out week-to-week due to an injury. The 31-year-old was injured during Tuesday's 6-2 victory against the Seattle Kraken after being checked awkwardly into the boards by Ben Meyers, who received a five-minute major penalty and game misconduct.
Prior to departing midway through the third period, Olofsson scored two goals in 10:48 of ice time, bringing his season tally to four goals and five points in five games. Raphael Lavoie took Olofsson's place during morning line rushes ahead of Thursday's matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
