The Golden Knights suffered a 5-2 loss to the Devils as Adin Hill struggled and Mitch Marner extended his point streak. Here are the latest Wins and Sins.

The Vegas Golden Knights suffered a 5-2 defeat to the New Jersey Devils on Friday night as former rival goaltender Connor Hellebuyck visited Las Vegas. Mark Stone and Ivan Barbashev scored goals for Vegas, but the team faded after a strong opening period. The Devils took control in the second period, outshooting the Golden Knights 16-7 and netting two unanswered goals to build a decisive lead.
Ryan Gagne highlighted Mitch Marner extending his point streak to nine games with two assists as a major positive. However, Gagne criticized Vegas goaltender Adin Hill for an inconsistent performance, posting an .871 save percentage in the loss. Vegas will next travel to face the Boston Bruins on Monday to open a four-game road trip.
