Vegas Golden Knights captain Mark Stone completed a Gordie Howe hat trick and reached 400 franchise points in a 6-2 victory over the Seattle Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena. Stone scored a shorthanded goal, added an assist, and fought Seattle defenseman Brandon Montour in the third period after taking issue with comments made following a hit on teammate Victor Olofsson.
Teammates and coach Ryan Craig praised Stone's willingness to fight despite Vegas holding a commanding lead, viewing it as an inspiring display of leadership.
