Much has been made about Ville Heinola debuting with the Vegas Golden Knights. So far, the reviews are in and they're good.

Defenseman Ville Heinola impressed in his debut for the Vegas Golden Knights, contributing an assist in a 4-1 victory against the Ottawa Senators. Heinola assisted Raphael Lavoie on his first career NHL goal, which proved to be the game-winner, while goaltender Adin Hill stopped 25 of 26 shots after stepping in for an injured Carter Hart.
Writer Jacob Walters notes that Heinola was brought in by general manager Kelly McCrimmon for defensive depth. In addition to his assist, Heinola recorded one shot on goal and two blocked shots, providing solid support as the team navigates multiple defensive and goaltending injuries.
