Vegas Golden Knights head coach Ryan Craig announced that forward Victor Olofsson returned to the lineup against the Detroit Red Wings. Olofsson was slated to play on the third line alongside Tomas Hertl and rookie Trevor Connelly following an absence due to long-term injured reserve.
Olofsson had suffered an injury on October 6 against the Seattle Kraken after an illegal hit from Ben Meyers. Prior to the injury, the Swedish winger scored four goals and provided one assist in his first four games of the season.
