The Washington Capitals announced lineup adjustments ahead of their Sunday afternoon matchup against the Seattle Kraken at Capital One Arena. Forward Pierre-Luc Dubois will miss the game due to illness, prompting Ethen Frank to draw into the lineup on a revamped fourth line alongside Boone Jenner and Anthony Beauvillier. Additionally, Justin Sourdif and Ryan Leonard shift up into new line combinations, while goaltender Logan Thompson gets the start in net.
Defenseman Matt Roy remains unavailable for Washington as he stays day-to-day with a lower-body injury suffered in Tampa, though he was able to skate on Sunday morning.
