The Capitol dome returns front and center on the latest alternate uniforms for the Washington Capitals.

The Washington Capitals unveiled their new "Hometown Remix" alternate uniforms on Monday, scheduled to make their on-ice debut on November 7 against the Florida Panthers. The design features a pre-2000s blue base with gold accents and returns the Capitol dome logo as the front crest for the first time since the 2006-07 season.
The uniform incorporates local District of Columbia motifs, including marble texturing across the shoulders and elbows, a cherry blossom hem motif, and the screaming eagle on the shoulders. The team announced it will wear the alternate threads across 11 games during the season.
