Giving up a third period is a low point for the Leafs, but at least Darren Raddysh was trending back in a positive direction.

Darren Raddysh logged a team-high 27:09 of ice time and posted a plus-3 rating as the Toronto Maple Leafs fell 5-4 in overtime to the Buffalo Sabres at Scotiabank Arena. Despite holding a 4-2 lead, Toronto suffered a third-period collapse that allowed Buffalo to complete the comeback victory.
Raddysh contributed an assist on a power-play goal by Kirill Marchenko, who scored his first hat trick for the franchise. The defeat was also marked by an injury to John Tavares and head coach Jim Hiller's decision to bench rookie Gavin McKenna.
