After dominating the AHL with twelve points, the former first-round pick rejoins the Jets' lineup to spark a turnaround following Captain Adam Lowry’s call for roster reinforcements.

The Winnipeg Jets have recalled forward Brayden Yager from the AHL's Manitoba Moose to their NHL roster. The 21-year-old prospect earned the promotion after recording 12 points across 10 games with Manitoba. Yager is projected to slot into the Jets' top-six forward group as a center playing alongside Cole Perfetti and Dawson Mercer.
The roster decision follows comments from team captain Adam Lowry calling for reinforcements from the Moose after a recent nine-game losing skid. Yager, who was originally drafted 14th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2023, previously appeared in one game for Winnipeg earlier in the season.
