The Story in 60 Seconds

St George Illawarra Dragons forward Josh Kerr is expected to join Hull FC on a multi-year deal ahead of the 2027 Super League season, according to a report from The Daily Telegraph. The 30-year-old prop would become Hull FC's tenth signing for 2027 as the club reportedly leads rivals Hull KR, Catalans Dragons, and Castleford Tigers in the race for his signature.

Securing Kerr would create an overseas quota issue for Hull FC, bringing their total to 12 overseas players against the allowed limit of ten. Because five of their overseas players are new recruits, the club would need to part ways with two existing contracted players to remain compliant with the quota rules.
