Championship side Goole Vikings have completed the double signing of young forwards Jon Turner from Hull FC and Alfie Petty from Hull KR on permanent deals ahead of 2027. Both players join the club seeking regular senior playing time, with Goole aiming to build around the next generation of emerging talent.
Turner, a 19-year-old prop, spent two seasons training with Hull FC's first team while playing regularly in the reserve grade. Petty made two Super League appearances for Hull KR in 2026 against Wigan and St Helens, with Goole head coach Brett Ferres praising both forwards' potential to develop into regular senior rugby league players.
