Hull KR announced their first signing under Nathan Cayless earlier this week, now another overseas player is in their sights.
Hull KR have launched a move to sign Townsville Blackhawks back-rower Edward Hampson ahead of next season. New head coach Nathan Cayless identified the 23-year-old forward as a target to help fill the void left by the retiring Rhyse Martin, with the club now working to secure a permanent transfer deal.
Hampson scored 11 tries in 22 appearances in the Queensland Cup this year. If finalized, he would become Cayless' second overseas recruit following the confirmed signing of 24-year-old Moala Graham-Taufa.
