The Queensland captain is one of 11 Kangaroos players free to talk to rival clubs on November 1, which falls in the middle of the World Cup.
Melbourne Storm playmaker Cameron Munster has confirmed that moving to a Sydney club is a genuine option as he prepares to enter the open market on November 1. The 32-year-old Queensland captain revealed his decision to explore options stems from Melbourne's uncertainty regarding who will replace coach Craig Bellamy in 2028. Munster stated he is now mature enough to handle Sydney's intense spotlight and wants to challenge himself outside his comfort zone.
Munster also dismissed speculation that he was unhappy with a reported $750,000 annual offer from Melbourne. He expressed hesitation regarding a move to Queensland clubs, noting he does not want to block emerging playmakers at the Broncos, Titans, Dolphins, or Cowboys.
