Leeds Rhinos have signed NRL prop Wiremu Greig ahead of the 2027 Super League season on a one-year contract featuring an option for a second year. The 26-year-old joins the Rhinos from the North Queensland Cowboys, reuniting with head coach Brad Arthur, who previously gave Greig his debut at the Parramatta Eels. Greig brings top-flight Australian experience to the squad after making 30 career appearances in the NRL.
Greig becomes the club's fifth signing for the 2027 campaign alongside Dylan Walker, Morgan Gannon, Edenn Rogers-Smith, and Nick Cotric. His arrival coincides with the departure of fellow prop Matt Lodge, who is exploring options to return home to Australia to be closer to his young family, as confirmed by sporting director Ian Blease.
