Both parties are nowhere near any common ground on contract talks.

Contract negotiations between the Gold Coast Titans and rookie halfback Zane Harrison have reportedly stalled. Both parties are said to be far apart from reaching common ground on a new deal, with talks currently divided over the player's asking price and an emerging demand.
Harrison, who has eleven games of first-grade experience, remains off-contract as the stalemate continues. The Titans are attempting to secure the playmaker's future on a permanent extension, but a significant gap remains between the club's offer and the player's financial expectations.
