The Chiefs are making reported moves again..

England international AJ Brimson is reportedly nearing a permanent transfer to the PNG Chiefs ahead of the franchise's 2028 NRL entry. Australian journalists James Hooper and Christian Nicolussi stated on the Fanatics podcast that Brimson is expected to finalize the move following his current World Cup commitments.
The proposed deal is reportedly worth around $700,000 to $750,000 per season. With the Chiefs joining the NRL in 2028 under head coach Willie Peters, Brimson could remain with the Gold Coast Titans for 2027 or seek a short-term move elsewhere to play fullback.
