How Liam Henry wants to spend his final weeks in Penrith

Penrith Panthers forward Liam Henry plans to mark his final weeks at the club by running laps around the Nepean River to raise awareness for Parkinson's disease. On October 10, six days following the NRL grand final, Henry will complete a 65km run consisting of 10 laps along the river walk. He is undertaking the challenge in honor of his father-in-law, Gav, who was diagnosed with the condition at age 38.

The 25-year-old will depart Penrith following the season to relocate with his family to Western Australia and join the Perth Bears. Meanwhile, Henry remains focused on finals football as the Panthers prepare to face the Newcastle Knights in a preliminary final, a matchup that follows a pivotal Bathurst loss between the two sides last season.
