Paul Rowley has been confirmed as the new Castleford Tigers head coach after signing a three-year deal with the club.

Castleford Tigers have appointed former St Helens boss Paul Rowley as their new head coach on a three-year contract. Rowley replaces Ryan Carr, who stepped down two months prior due to personal reasons. The move marks Castleford's seventh head coach appointment since Daryl Powell left in 2021.
Rowley previously departed St Helens in July and had managed Salford before their financial issues in 2025. Castleford finished second from bottom in Super League last season, winning eight of 27 matches, with director of rugby Chris Chester indicating plans for further squad recruitment.
