He holds a small part of Salford history following his previous spell at the club, now he’s back to help them in a new era.
Salford have confirmed the signing of outside back Jake Bibby from Championship rivals Oldham. The 30-year-old returns to the club seven years after scoring Salford's only Grand Final try in their 2019 defeat against St Helens, having previously made 78 appearances and scored 36 tries between 2015 and 2019.
Bibby scored 17 tries in 29 appearances for Oldham last season following Super League stints with Wigan Warriors and Huddersfield Giants. He joins returning halfback Marc Sneyd and hooker Brad Dwyer in head coach Dave Hewitt's squad as Salford prepare for their next Championship campaign.
