Eels star Mitchell Moses is looking forward to reuniting with former Blues teammate Jarome Luai at Parramatta. Although they may square off in the World Cup first.
Parramatta Eels halfback Mitchell Moses says he has been in regular contact with incoming playmaker Jarome Luai ahead of their club partnership next season. Moses noted that while he is excited to team up with the new recruit, his immediate focus remains on representing Australia, having earned a starting spot in the Kangaroos' No. 7 jersey against New Zealand on Thursday.
Moses received an unexpected national call-up from coach Kevin Walters following a severe leg injury to Penrith halfback Nathan Cleary. Alongside Luai, Parramatta has bolstered its roster with new signings Spencer Leniu and Jayden Su'a, with Moses and Samoa captain Luai potentially facing each other during the World Cup before beginning pre-season preparations together.
