Exeter Chiefs director of rugby Rob Baxter confirmed that new signing Dallas McLeod will not make his debut against Bath this weekend. The 26-year-old All Blacks center arrived in Devon late last week after concluding his domestic season in New Zealand, where he featured heavily for the Crusaders and Canterbury. Rather than rushing him into action, Exeter plans to steadily build his workload.
Baxter explained that McLeod is expected to become available later in the PREM Rugby Cup block. Meanwhile, winger Paul Brown-Bampoe is set to make his first appearance of the season following a heel injury, while recent signings Obinna Nkwocha, André Goedhals, and Carwyn Tuipulotu could also feature for the Chiefs.
