Northampton Saints boss Phil Dowson has revealed that the club sent England tighthead Trevor Davison to Texas to help with his return to action after three operations on the knee injury he suffered earlier this year.

Northampton Saints director of rugby Phil Dowson has revealed that England tighthead prop Trevor Davison is targeting an October return to action. The 34-year-old prop underwent three operations after sustaining a knee injury during a Gallagher Premiership match against Saracens in late March.
Davison recently spent time rehabilitating with a specialist in Texas and has resumed running and skill sessions alongside Northampton physios. Dowson emphasized that the club will not rush Davison back prematurely, relying strictly on medical expertise before allowing him to return to full match play.
