Two second-half tries for hosts Edinburgh denied Siya Kolisi a memorable Stormers return in a narrow defeat on Friday night in round two of the URC.

Edinburgh secured a 17-13 victory over the Stormers at Hive Stadium in round two of the United Rugby Championship. The hosts held a 3-0 lead at halftime via a James Grayson penalty before second-half converted tries from Paul Hill and Rory McHaffie sealed the win. The result spoiled Siya Kolisi's return to the Stormers in his 119th appearance for the franchise.
Hacjivah Dayimani scored the Stormers' lone try, with flyhalf Yaqeen Ahmed adding the conversion and two penalties. The South African side suffered an early blow when hooker André-Hugo Venter failed a head injury assessment, while winger Seabelo Senatla and Edinburgh flanker Freddy Douglas both received yellow cards in the second half.
