NEWS: Shaun Edwards has taken up a short-term coaching consultancy role with the Red Roses.

Shaun Edwards has taken up a short-term coaching consultancy role with England's women's national rugby team, the Red Roses. The 59-year-old joins head coach John Mitchell's staff ahead of their Test match against New Zealand at Allianz Stadium and will remain with the squad through the conclusion of the WXV Global Series.
Edwards previously coached France to a Six Nations Grand Slam in 2022 and titles in 2025 and 2026 after a successful 12-year stint with Wales. Mitchell confirmed this marks Edwards' first coaching role in an international women's setup, working alongside coaches including Sarah Hunter.
