The Leicester wing endured losing his father at 18 and the death of his brother last year but has found strength in adversity for club and country.

Leicester Tigers wing Gabriel Hamer-Webb has reflected on his rapid rise to international rugby with Wales alongside coping with significant family bereavement. The 25-year-old was named in the Wales squad for the upcoming Nations Championship after starting the season as Leicester's leading try-scorer, which included a hat-trick against Saracens.
Hamer-Webb opened up about overcoming the sudden loss of his father at age 18 and the suicide of his brother Myles last year. He also discussed finding balance through his family's artistic background and looked ahead to Leicester's upcoming East Midlands derby against Northampton Saints at Welford Road.
