Gloucester winger Phil Cokanasiga has been ruled out until January after undergoing surgery on a foot injury sustained during his side's 45-24 victory against Exeter at Sandy Park. Head coach George Skivington initially noted to BBC Radio Gloucestershire that the 25-year-old caught his foot toward the end of the match, despite completing the full 80 minutes.
Cokanasiga arrived at Gloucester this summer from United Rugby Championship club Ospreys and previously scored two tries on his debut against Bristol. Meanwhile, prop Jamal Ford-Robinson is also sidelined until January after undergoing surgery for a torn hamstring suffered against Bristol.
