Hendrikse setback opens door for Moyo

Sharks head coach JP Pietersen has selected Vusi Moyo to start at flyhalf for Saturday's United Rugby Championship opener against Ospreys at Kings Park. Moyo replaces Jordan Hendrikse, who has been ruled out of selection due to a minor injury setback following a previous lengthy back issue. Moyo will partner with scrumhalf Jaden Hendrikse in the starting halfback pairing.

Pietersen praised Moyo's leadership throughout the pre-season following the flyhalf's Springbok debut against Wales in July. The Sharks lineup will also feature a new midfield combination, with Murray Koster and Jurenzo Julius starting at center against an Ospreys squad that includes Australian recruits Lawson Creighton and Lalakai Foketi.
