Exeter Chiefs director of rugby Rob Baxter stated that his team is making life too easy for their opponents following a fourth defeat in five Premiership matches. Baxter explained that excessive mistakes are enabling opposing teams to take advantage and apply pressure on his squad.
Baxter noted that attempting to handle situations emotionally led to further handling errors, especially after falling 14 points behind. Although Exeter demonstrated character to fight back and take the lead during the match, costly errors continued to affect their performance.
