A former England World Cup-winning star has revealed his incredible body transformation after taking up bodybuilding.

Former England Rugby World Cup winner Phil Vickery revealed an impressive physical transformation after taking up competitive bodybuilding at age 50. The 2003 World Cup champion shared photos on Instagram from a Physical Culture Association competition in Hull, explaining that weight training and the discipline of the sport have greatly benefited his physical and mental health.
Vickery retired from rugby in 2010 due to injuries and previously disclosed in August that he deals with memory issues linked to probable chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). Despite his health challenges, the former prop praised his coach Dave Campbell and received supportive messages from former teammate Matt Dawson and the official England rugby account.
