Over in Monaco, Eddie Hearn is already plotting his next rugby move. The ink has barely dried on Henry Pollock's new Northampton contract but the promoter does not want to stop there.

Sports promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed plans to meet with Premiership Rugby executives to explore a formal partnership aimed at restructuring the sport. Hearn, whose agency recently signed England international Henry Pollock and Scotland star Finn Russell, stated he wants an infrastructure-level involvement to commercially reinvent rugby rather than operating solely as a player agent or consultant.
Hearn stated that Pollock agreed to a three-year contract extension with Northampton Saints worth around £450,000 per year, turning down potentially triple that amount elsewhere. Hearn also argued that English rugby must eliminate its salary cap while opposing proposals to host Six Nations matches in the United States.
