The best Springboks returned to the United Rugby Championship in Round 2 and made an immediate impact.

Eben Etzebeth came off the bench to inspire the Sharks to a 26-20 victory over Leinster at Hollywoodbets Kings Park in Round 2 of the United Rugby Championship. The veteran Springbok lock featured for 25 minutes in his return to club action, helping the Sharks earn their second consecutive five-point haul and take the top spot on the league table.
Elsewhere in URC action, the Lions defeated the Ospreys 35-19 in Johannesburg to secure their second straight win. Overseas, the Bulls fell 26-22 to Munster in Limerick, while the Stormers were edged 17-13 by Edinburgh, leaving all four South African sides inside the top eight.
