Springbok assistant coach Mzwandile Stick says a depleted Italy side remain dangerous and the world champions will only worry about the bigger picture once they've won in Turin.

Springbok assistant coach Mzwandile Stick has warned that South Africa cannot afford to give Italy room to move ahead of their Test match in Turin. Despite injuries ruling out key Italian players like centre Tommaso Menoncello, Stick insisted that the Azzurri remain dangerous and dismissed any suggestion of an easy victory for the world champions.
Stick highlighted Italian backs Ange Capuozzo, Monty Ioane, and Paolo Garbisi as world-class threats capable of punishing South Africa if afforded space. He added that while the Springboks are competing with New Zealand atop the Nations Championship southern hemisphere standings, securing a victory comes before chasing bonus points.
